Job Task Steps:
1.    Notice an incident of noisy behavior that is disrupting the class
2.    Direct everyone’s attention towards you and explain behavioral expectations.
a.    Should they want to interrupt, ask students to raise their hands.
b.    Explain the importance of a moderate tone of voice.
3.    Continue with the discussion.
4.    If the same students are noisy again, call their attention and ask if they have something that they want to share with the class.
a.    Take note of the student(s) names
5.    Assess the situation whether a private conversation with the student(s) is needed to prevent recurrence of the same problem.
6.    After finishing the discussion, reinforce good behavior by praising them.
Outcome(s)
•    Students are well-informed of the proper behavior inside the classroom
•    Students say that there is a common understanding of expectations during discussions
•    Students are quiet in the classroom.
•    Noise created by students is under control by the educator
