Paper, Order, or Assignment Requirements

Interview Questions:

• What is your job?
• Have you ever worked with male employees?
• What approach do you follow to communicate with male employees in the workplace?
• What are your negative and positive work experiences with male employees? Give some examples.
• Are there any challenges working with male employees? Give some examples.
• Do you prefer to work with men or women? Explain why.
• There are several generations in the workforce, such as Baby Boomers, Generation X, and Generation Y. Which one of these do you prefer to work with and which one do you dislike? Explain why.
• Have you ever faced any gender discriminatory conduct in the workplace? Give some examples.
• What are some obstacles you have had to overcome while working with male employees in the workplace? Give some examples.
• Could you provide some advice about working with male employees in the workplace?

Interview Paper

This should be an eight to ten page paper in which you interview someone of the opposite sex from yours. Develop a list of interview questions that you will ask them based on the two textbooks and discussions in class.

Rubric for grading the Gender/Generational Interview Paper

1. The extent to which you covered class concepts and ideas in the interview. These include challenges that they may have faced as a result of their gender or generation, obstacles they may have overcome, and their thoughts and views on different aspects of gender and generations – 65%
2. Provides an overall summary and conclusion – 15%
3. Correct syntax and grammar – 10%
4. Correct spelling and punctuation – 10%
