Introduction

Nursing is a form of medical and other related professional care given to either an

individual or group of people who have illness so that they can be helped to improve in their

health conditions (White, 2006). It is also given to persons to maintain their level standards of

heath or to recover from a given optimal health conditions. It is important to note here that

nursing is a profession which can only be given by professionals, either as a home based event or

studied by the Hippocrates as a form of medical profession. The modern practice of the

profession was however incepted by Florence nightingale (White, 2006).
