Q: “What is your motivation for becoming a physician assistant?” Maximum word count 5000 This essay is a personal statement for entering the master’s program. It is not specific to any program; all will see the same one. I am telling a story about my journey to becoming a PA. I am unsure if I should simplify it to make it so the panel can easily find and understand the main idea. I also wanted it to cover how my qualities and personality match with a good PA candidate. One of my weaknesses in writing is the transition and cohesiveness of an essay.
