Model your poem after “You Bring Out the Mexican in Me” and “You Bring Out the Vietnamese in Me”
Include elements of your identity, cultural background, history, experiences, memories, images, etc.
Does not have to follow the model exactly, but should include the line, “You bring out the —– in me” throughout your poem, at least 3 times
Write at least 6 stanzas with a minimum of 5 lines each (or something close to it – of course you have creative freedom for your format)
