Pick ONE poem from any of the poems (I WILL BE PROVIDING YOU WITH THE POEMS TO CHOSE FROM)

Once you have chosen the poem, write at the top of the page the name of the poem and who it was composed by.

To reference the poems in the essay refer to only the line it came from. For example if a quote came from the 5th line, put in brackets at the end of the quote (line 5). If it came from more than one line write (lines 5 and 6) or (lines 5-9).

Do not add a reference list at the end of the essay.

QUESTION:
How does the language in the poem manifest into form?
In other words, how does the use of metaphor, or simile, or rhythm, or tone, make the poem become a sonnet/ ballad or blues poem?

THIS ESSAY SHOULD BE NO MORE THAN 550 WORDS AND NO LESS THAN 450 WORDS!!
