Policy Development: Draft
Students will assume the role of the policy manager for a law enforcement organization. Students must conduct research for best practices related to the regulation of police officers use of social media and develop a department policy. This research should include interviews with local law enforcement leaders to determine how they are addressing this issue. Students will also read the included study conducted by the International Association of Chiefs of Police.
