Political Agenda: Less for the People and More for Large Corporations

2.    There will be one assignment of your own choosing about an issue that you think is of particular importance or interest in the field of politics and government.  Students will be required to select the topic and give me a brief description (1 or 2 paragraphs) of their paper by the 3rd week of class. (If you have trouble identifying a topic, I will be happy to assist you.)  The final paper will be between seven and ten pages long, due the last week of class and must contain at least two citations in APA format.

Ther topic to be on marginal and corporate taxation and how lobbyist and special interest groups make it more difficult to over come poverty. Examples used would be, Citizens United law and NRA Lobbyist and how much they give to political campaigns to secure a voice.
