Introduction for the research The Thermal properties of medium-density fibreboard (MDF) consisting of empty fruit bunch fibre (EFB) and palm-based pre-polyurethane (pre-PU) as green binder were investigated. The EFB was in the size range of 200 to 400 μm with Aluminium tri hydroxide (ATH) varied at 8, 16, and 24 wt% of the total resin mass were added into the pre-PU matrix at a ratio of 70:30 of the EFB to pre-PU. This study discovered the significant of mixing sequence to the strength enhancement of the fibreboard. I Need to explain how Aluminium Trihydroxide (ATH) as flame retardant effect on the thermal properties of Medium density fibreboards in term of glass transition , weight loss degradation and thermal stability, storage modulus, loss modulus and tan delta on medium density fibreboard (MDF) and compare it with Control MDF which has no flame retardant (ATH )
