The purpose of the literature review is to summarize experimental literature on a topic, and to provide ideas or directions for future research (including applied research). Your review should be focused on one area of experimental literature and should contain a synthesis of the literature. It should contain insights that may not be evident from reading the articles individually, definitely not taken directly from the studies. You will be required to have 2 original ideas for future directions in this area of research – these cannot be mentioned in any articles – and one should be an applied-research idea.

? Limit 3,500 total words (not including the Title Page and References)
? Font size 12, Times New Roman or Arial
? Double spaced, 1 inch margins – make sure to remove “extra space” between paragraphs
? Minimum of 5 REFERENCES which are empirical studies – book chapters, websites, personal
correspondence, etc. does not count toward this five. REFERENCES: Should be experimental in nature, best to be found from JEAB, peer-referred journals and are basic/experimental. 1-2 references from an applied journal such as JABA, for the end of the paper where you will have an applied extension for your research; however should only have 1-2 articles that are applied in nature and only for that purpose.
