Surveys are a popular instrument to gather data to test a hypothesis, and are often incorporated into the design methodology. However, there can be several issues designing a questionnaire for use in business research, which can center on layout and format, question phrasing, response option selection, sequencing of questions, introduction, use of demographic questions, use of theory to identify topics, etc. For this , address these areas in your paper on how to construct a questionnaire (not administering it) to conduct business research. In the next session of your paper, address the methodology of your own research project and answer the following questions in regards to using a survey to collect data.
1. What are the possible barriers you may face in using a survey?
2. What are the possible outcomes?
3. What information in particular needs to be collected?
4. Why is a survey the best form of data collection? If not, why?
5. Is there a validated survey that can be used to perform your research? If so, how was it validated? If not, what are some of the potential challenges in developing a survey?
