We had a role play exercise in marketing course about Frack-it as an organization and a community in a small village”Abeerdin”. Please check the attached background file to get a full idea about this assignment. Also, please check the references as you will need them for writing the second part of the assignment. After the role play exercise, I have got the assignment as shown in the attached name” Case study “ in order to develop a poster along with explanation for the poster.
Since I have been for the second assignment, I would like you to choose assignment 2.
Please note that you will need to provide some fact and figures such as the company has 0 accidents and has a good technology in disposing the waste in terms of protection environment, something as evidences so you will need to do some deep research about the Fracking organization and abeerdin . Remember this assignment is more about pitching and to convince the stakeholders . With regard to the references, please check the attached file as you will need to do some research about Fracking Company. The poster will need to be very creative and has images.

Assignment (Choose one perspective from the stated below)

1)    You have been engaged as a consultant/Adviser to the “Frack-It” organisation.
You have to assist the organization to represent their case for operation at a local community exhibition, organized by ”Aberndeedin Council”. You are aware that other views will be represented at the event and you consider that it is important for their organization to take this opportunity to gain ground in terms of the opinions formed by members of the local community. Your focus is to use all available marketing options to influence the general perception of “Frack-It” as an organization and of their proposed development at “Aberndeedin”

•    Prepare a poster highlighting the benefits to stakeholders of accepting a fracking development in their area. (include images)

•    Prepare a briefing note (Approx pages 5 pages) highlighting the thinking behind poster concerned and advising on the approach to be taking in the presentation of such the viewing public.

2)    You have been engaged as a consultant /adviser to the “Eye Wide Open” local community group.
You have to assist the group to present their case for opposing the fracking operation at a local community exhibition organized by “Aaberndeedin Council”. You are aware that other views will be represented at the event, including the “Frack –It” organiztion. You consider this to be an opportunity to highlight the dangers should private companies be allowed to proceed as they would choose in terms of fracking and for the local community in particular regarding the proposed development at “Abbderdeedin”.
•    Prepare a poster highlighting  the disadvantages to stakeholders of accepting a fracking development in their area (include images).

•    Prepare a briefing note (Approx pages 5 pages) highlighting the thinking behind poster concerned and advising on the approach to be taking in the presentation of such the viewing public.
