Presearch is an intellectual exercise in answering this question: What do we know about [whatever real-life challenge] from academic insights in the peer-reviewed literature of 2 or more academic disciplines? To answer this question you must deploy your skills as apprentice analyst by drawing on the methods of HIR context, logics, and data analyses.
“Academic insights” are what you get from basic narrative analysis — from conducting an HIR context analysis, logics analysis, and data analysis for each of the six articles that, for this assignment, constitute the peer-reviewed literature.
Please look at the sample paper for Streamlined descriptions that you must address. I need you to do:

· Articulation of a problem (5%). Identify a real-world challenge/social crisis in a single sentence.
· Modified literature review (MLR; 30%). Using the data you unearthed from your work as apprentice analyst, compose a response to the presearch question: “What do we know about [whatever real-life challenge] from academic insights in the peer-reviewed literature of 2 or more academic disciplines?” The best answers to the presearch question use themes to discuss the academic insights we find in the existing peer-reviewed literature.
HOW?
Use the 3 analyses that, together, constitute basic narrative analysis. Bring to mind the methods for HIR context analysis, logics analysis, and data analysis from these three lectures:
WHY?
Working through each of these three analysis (their different methods and purposes) and acquiring the data for each WILL set you up to answer the research question for the modified literature review (composed under the Insights heading in the Final Paper):
What do we know about [real-life challenge or social crisis] from the insights found in the existing peer-reviewed literature published in the academic journals of 2 academic disciplines?
