Program Script

Paper, Order, or Assignment Requirements

This is the evening’s script – when things are to happen. It needs to include sound and light cues, stage cues, video cues, and must include all announcements, and times allotted for each part of the night. NOTE: This is not an event schedule, nor a production schedule. Nor does it need to have written out all words to be spoken (like a theatre script), but “out cues” will be needed. Don’t underestimate the time this will take! This pulls together all the other aspects we’ve discussed in the course, and needs to reflect an incorporation of how they will be used for maximum effect.

Purpose: This is necessary for any “produced” event. It is one of the most important working documents involved in staged events and often will be in collaboration with various designers and technicians.
