Psychological imbalances and criminal behavior

Imagine that researchers have identified a “Psychopathic Gene” in one’s DNA that may be linked to psychological imbalances and criminal behavior. Various lobbying groups and members of the media are suggesting that everyone living in the United States should be tested for the presence if this gene, starting at birth. Moreover, perhaps, “precautions” should be taken to isolate those possessing this gene from the rest of society.
