Public Service Accountability

The purpose of this essay is for you to reflect on the concepts discussed in the course.

Identify a current example of a public service accountability issue and cite your source.

Describe the background of your example, how it could have been avoided and what should be done to rectify the issue. Please note that there is no right answer to this assignment; the idea is to have you build an answer based on a combination of the assigned readings, your own thoughts and experiences.

As you are writing your essay, think about class discussions and terms from the reading which apply to your example, and incorporate them into your essay.

Your essay should be between two to three pages in length (typed, double-spaced, 12-point font).
