QUESTION# At the time this occurred, Anthrax was a very scary case.
QUESTION# At the time this occurred, Anthrax was a very scary case. If a company decides to go ahead and develop a drug that would be necessary in chemical/biological/classic warfare, isn’t that company almost guaranteed that the greatest demand for their product will be in an emergency situation? Shouldn’t they then be prepared to react swiftly?
QUESTION# 2 this is a class case of an office or workplace romance. Are
office romances inevitable? People are spending an ever increasing amount of time at work, which means less
time socializing outside of work, so doesn’t this
mean romantic relationships are more likely to develop on the job? What’s wrong with office romances either at World Bank or in general? What
specific ethical issues do they raise? Do they raise any legal issues?
