Reaching out to touch someone

Paragraph 1: Summary: provide a two-three sentence summary of the entire text

Paragraph 2: Response: what you thought about the reading/do you agree or disagree with the author/what did you find interesting/ personal opinion of the text (300 words maximum)

Paragraph 3: Question: make up a discussion question that arose you while reading the text

Paragraph 4: Quotation: provide a quotation from the text

Paragraph 5: vocabulary: make note of any words that you were unfamiliar with as bullet points
