Reading and Workshop Reflection

This reflection must:
1. Critically and clearly present one or two key messages from the article attached. Show us you understand the KEY MESSAGE/S

2. Apply those one or two key messages from your chosen Article to an exercise/activity undertaken in class, clearly demonstrating how you have integrated your understanding of the messages in the article to the practical task or activity you have undertaken in class. It is expected that interacting with your peers in class will help you to develop a more nuanced and sophisticated understanding of the concepts.

3. Read the attachment “Workshop discussion” so you know what we did in class and also the power point will give you an overview of what we discussed.. and links to videos we watched. That way the 2 key messages should stand out.

3. Identify 2-3 techniques or strategies you might use to apply this knowledge in practice and critically discuss the merits and/or limitations of the strategies and your capacity to use the techniques or strategies. The emphasis is on your evaluation of yourself as a new practitioner, the steps you need to take and the skills and knowledge you will draw on.

4. you need to make sure you link the article to the workshop discussion

YOU MUST MAKE SURE THE CRITERIA BELOW IS MET.

Criteria & Marking:

The reflection will be assessed according to the following criteria:
1. Demonstrate comprehension of one or two key messages from your chosen reading through your capacity to critically present relevant information sufficiently, succinctly and accurately. (8 marks)
2. Integrate your comprehension of the keymessage/s with the content of the workshop. (8 marks)
3. Reflect on the potential relevance of the knowledge to your future practice and the learning for you as a leader in practice situations. Use of relevant examples (2-3 techniques or strategies) is essential. (9 marks)
– what you are going to do to develop in this area – what does all of this mean for you, practically, as a leader? What do you know now that you didn’t know before? And how will you apply it? Hint: Make sure the three criteria above are evenly balanced in your written piece.
Tell us what reading you are referring to. We don’t need the title (except as a reference) but use the authors’ names.

You haven’t got enough words to provide a broad intro and conclusion. Get straight into it!

There are three criteria – not three separate questions – they must all relate to each other.
