Description:
Current Issue Paper: Each student will write a paper on a current issue. The student may choose an issue that is of interest to them with final approval from the instructor. This paper will describe the issue, discuss the history of the issue, tell the pros and cons of the issue, and summarize with the students position on the issue. This paper is worth 50% of your grade and your grade is not based on your stance on the issue.

Grading Criteria for Current Issue Paper:

Description of the issue 25%
Description of the history of the issue 25%
Description of the Pros and Cons 25%
Description of your position 15%
Grammar and punctuality 5%
APA Format 5%
Total 100%
