Task 6 – Reflection

Order Description

Reflection is defined as ‘looking back on an experience and making sense of it to identify what to do in the future’ (Drew & Bingham, 2001:221). It helps us to improve our performance and learning by identifying what we do well and what we need to improve on.
Reflection can be about two main things: what you learnt (subject content) and how you learnt it (personal academic performance).

Part 1) Subject content: reflect on the mini conference. What did you learn that might be useful for a future career in marketing? Why? How does it relate to the topics covered in the lectures and tutorials? You should use correct Harvard referencing in this part when you refer to specific authors and case studies etc. Write one page (1.5 line spaced) for each of the three tasks (weighting 3×25%).

Part 2) Personal performance: reflect on your personal academic performance during the semester. What went well and what went badly? Why? How could you improve? Write one page (1.5 line spaced) (weighting 1×25%).

Write approximately 1500 words in total (4 pages, 1.5 line spaced) with a reference list for part 1
