What ideas did Nazism draw from Houston Stewart Chamberlain’s The Foundations of the Nineteenth Century and Wilhelm Marr’s the Victory of Judaism over Germandom? In your response, discuss the history of Nazism before and after Hitler’s invasion of Poland in 1933.

2. Social Darwinism can be seen as a system of ethics. Consider the ways in which Primo Levi presents this system of ethics in his memoir Survival in Auschwitz. How does Levi observe his situation? What alternate ethical model does he provide?
