You need to write some part of my dissertation which are chapter 1 (1.1 and 1.2) and chapter 2 (2.3 and 2.4).
1.    In chapter 1, you should write introduction and background for my dissertation. It is around 1000 words.
2.    In chapter 2 literature review.  2.3 Characteristics of VMI and their pros and cons. (eliminate bullwhip effect, VMI pros and cons, VMI limitations and so on).  2.4.Conditions and steps implementation of VMI for company.  Totally around 2000 words.
3.    Use around 30 references. And use Harvard style for reference.

You should look at my attachment about whole structure of my dissertation, it is include table of contents and clearly for each part. And the book will be helpful!
