Research Project Suggestions Select a topic from the suggestions below. 1. Evaluate the tensions and struggles of the early Christians and how they overcame these barriers. 2. Take a book from the New Testament and explain the book based on your understanding as though you were teaching someone who had never seen it before. 3. Explain the role of the Holy Roman Catholic Church in the transition of Christians from persecution to salvation and safety. 4. Discuss how Judas Iscariot’s betrayal of Jesus shaped the formation of the New Testament. Consider the following questions in the discussion: Why is forgiveness an essential value to Christ followers? What should be the Christian’s response to personal failure or sin and the need for forgiveness? How should we in the body of Christ seek to restore those who sin or fail in their Christian walk?

Option A: You will write a 1,100 -1,250 word research paper. Your paper will include an ample amount of research. You will be expected to use APA format for your paper with the objectives outlined above as separate headings and subheadings where appropriate. Your document should be written in Times New Roman 12 pt. font and double spaced with a proper title page. Please refer to the APA Sixth Edition Manual for formatting.
