Complete the Resumé Worksheet (available in Doc Sharing) and prepare or update your resumé based on the information on your worksheet. In addition to the worksheet, you will want to use the results of your self-assessment activities, the lectures, our discussions, and your text as a guide. Another helpful resource is the Career Services Office (CSO) Resumé Checklist (also available in Doc Sharing), which contains detailed information regarding the criteria your Career Services advisor will use when giving you feedback on your resumé prior to you uploading it to HireDeVry. Please make every effort to do the very best job you can on this first version of one of the most important job search documents you will create!.
The Resumé Worksheet, the CSO Resumé Checklist, and grading rubric are available in Doc Sharing. PLEASE NOTE: You only need to submit your resumé to the Dropbox. The Resumé Worksheet and Resumé Checklist are only intended to be “working documents” while preparing your draft resumé and do not need to be posted in the Dropbox. Be sure to proofread and spell check your resumé before you submit it.
