We have talked and read about capitalism in the last two weeks. We have covered a fair amount of material.

Discuss the rise of capitalism in Europe before the 20th century, especially causes and consequences. Hand in the assignment when you come to class on Tuesday.

If you use other sources, limit usage to 100 words. Excessive use of other sources will lead to significant point deduction.

(4) Simple citation is sufficient (e.g. Robbins, Culture of Capitalism, p. 5; Weber, Protestant Ethic, p. 66)
