self regulation

Abdul was select to work by a previous manager , who left ,and left Abdul and Shirley together in charge of projects , now Shirley is accusing Abdul of doing everything without informing her, and treats as if she works for him on other hand Abdul says Shirley is hung up on titles, power etc and also busy in other things
this problem has to be solved by using self regulation ,introducing the concept with reference to Abdul and Shirley and write a critical essay on it.
