If you see a person and you just cannot be sure of this person’s gender, what would you do?
I remember years and years ago there was this occasion I had to talk to a person in a bookstore. A good looking person who was quiet. I greeted this person. This person just smiled and nodded. I thought this person was a man, but then again this person looked feminine too. I could not help it but asked more questions to get this person to talk—so I could get some clue. This person finally open the mouth—a woman. Well, I thought. About 90% sure.
Do you think you can tolerate the ambiguity without finding out a person’s sex?
