Strategic Staffing: The importance of job analysis and rewards during times of Sequestration and Furloughs

Prepare a course paper, 13 pages in length, on a topic related to the theme of Strategic Staffing. The furloughs have effected staffing big time within the government. For us at our military hospital, all civilian employees, minus about 300 (we have roughly 1300) cannot work on Fridays and I only have 442 Soldiers available to cover down on these vacancies. Running a hospital on that minimal staffing is quite the task. I want the paper to reflect how proper job analysis up front can be used so that overstaffing doesn’t occur thus reducing the possibility of furloughs impacting our organization so much in the future.
