Some believe these methods to be tried and true, while others believe them to be outdated and not particularly useful to assess student learning. However, your faculty needs to have some familiar ground to work on if they are going to change. Section V: Summative Assessment Scenario You have been assigned the task of creating a summative assessment assignment to present to your faculty so that can have a clear understanding and example of a summative assessment.
