Project description
The task is to write a survey article of the published literature on the aspect of intonation in the phonological system. This will require you to read extensively, and to identify the important issues that relate to intonation in the phonological system. Please look at both theory books and articles, and more practical EFL course material designed to develop students competence.

It is important that it is written in the style of a survey article. Please Use ELT Journal as a guide for seeing how survey articles are written.

The essay should also include some transcription from English words to phonetic symbols (and vice versa) for intonation.

For references, please include, (you may use more, but these must also be included)
