Temperature Patterns within the United States

What do you have to complete in lab 3?
Just answer the following questions in lab #3: #1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24, 25, 28, 29, 30
Do not do questions: #4, 9, 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, 31, 32, 33

What will you need to complete lab 3?
Thermometer – if you have one already. You do not need to go buy one if you don’t have one. If you don’t have a thermometer, you can use the data later on in this email.
Pencil

Special Instructions:
If you have a thermometer, feel free to do the experiment that starts off the lab. It’s not too strenuous of an activity, and it’s a good reason to get some fresh air! If you need some data for that, you can use the following numbers that I measured in early September (which, unfortunately, are nothing like you’d get at this time of year…but our thermometers here at school don’t go down that low to be able to do this right now!):
Thermometer in the sun: ground level = 95ºF chest high = 84ºF
Thermometer in the shade: ground level = 78ºF chest high = 76ºF

Also, in question #16, when it suggests textbook pages to look at, that won’t match our new textbook. So, I don’t think you’ll find any help to that question on those pages of your textbook. Section 2.17 (pages 68-69) in our book might be the closest equivalent to the pages the lab book suggests.
