Background:

Items that you own or consume and which are produced at least partly outside Canada represent one way in which you are globally connected. Any personal experiences you may have had in other countries, or any form of communication you may have with relatives, friends, or other people outside Canada would be another instance of your global connections. If you look back to the themes we have been exploring in this course, you should be able to think of other examples of your global connections.
