HOW TO WRITE A FEATURE.

A FEATURE AS A VERY SIMPLISTIC ANALOGY-
Imagine that you’ve invited at least 4 guests to a dinner party, where you’re going to debate a topic.

Guest List

1) The first guest  is a specialist in the topic that you’re going to discuss.

2) Guest 2 is someone who’s experienced aspects of the topic that you’re about to discuss.

3) Guest 3 is there to play ‘devil’s advocate’ and to disagree (intelligently) with the rest of you.

4) Guest 4 is your  best mate, who thinks the same as you do about almost
everything, has shared similar experiences in life and is always on your side

Your topic/ dinner party conversatrion can either be controversial/political, or light hearted and comedic e.g, talking about the best way to get your mans attention in during the World Cup Finals, or how to check whether your girl’s been cheating on you.

You just need the debate to rage and unfold.
