The global politic of food

There are two part of the essay. The first part explain 5 concepts that are covered in the readings. I will upload all the required readings. There is no need for outside research. When using direct quotes from the readings, or paraphrase ideas in your answers please provide references (author, date and most importantly, page number). Write 200-300 words on each of the five concept. In each answer try provide at least one example (from the reading) to illustrate your understanding of the concept and make sure to connect the concept to a particular author, or an author’s argument. These are the five concept: 1. ‘Culinary Modernism’, 2. the ‘Omnivore’s Anxiety’, 3. the ‘Society of the Appetite’, 4. ‘Cosmo-multiculturalism’, 5. ‘the Absent referent’. The second part, write a 750 words essay using three readings that I upload. Drawing on these three readings explain the relationship of food and eating to contemporary social life. Please use sub heading to indicate which one is part one, concept one or part two and so on.
