The Little, Brown Compact Handbook for rules regarding MLA formatting
Use proper MLA format throughout your paper. Refer to you’re The Little,
Brown Compact Handbook for rules regarding MLA formatting, punctuation, citing, etc.
You must have at least four sources. You must have, at minimum, two sources that are books,
magazine articles, newspaper articles, journals, interviews, reports, or government records, etc. What this means is that two of your sources have to be anything but a website.
The final paper is your final exam.
Choose from one of the following topics:
1. How has television influenced American society (you can write about technology, media, violence, etc.)?
4. Pick an infamous criminal and research his/her life of crime. Explain why he/she is still well known and why Americans are mesmerized by their actions.
You may alter the topics a bit if you find something interesting within these topics.
