Order Description

In this forum, we’ll look at possible sources for your research projects, evaluating and discussing the usefulness of those sources. Begin by using the databases in the Online Library and Google Scholar to look for research on your topic. Find at least 2 peer reviewed sources that you think you could use in your research project. Then, in your main post:

Tell us which research project you plan to do and why.
Talk about the process you went through finding the sources. What database worked best? Did you learn about the source and get access to it using the same database, or did you have to learn about it using one, and access it using another? Also discuss any difficulties you encountered and give tips that you think could help your classmates.
Write up an annotated bibliography for your 2 peer-reviewed sources: begin with an MLA format works cited entry, and follow it with a paragraph where you first summarize what the source says in 1-2 sentences, and then explain, in 1-2 sentences, how you think the source will contribute to your research project.
Please divide your response into paragraphs for easier reading. Note that all 3 parts of this assignment are required; posts missing 1 or more parts will earn lower forum scores.

Instructions: After you have made your initial post of at least 200-300 words by 11:55 pm ET Thursday, please respond to at least 2 other students in responses of 100-150 words by 11:55 pm, ET, Sunday. To earn a higher grade on each week’s discussion, students are expected to post more frequently, at least three separate days during the week. Posting three times in a week will earn a grade of a C. Four posts of high quality according to the rubric will earn a B, and five high quality posts according to the rubric earn an A. Make sure you are making substantive posts, and remember to write in complete, grammatical sentence
