The Role of the Family:
1) Provide an overview of the roles families play in the education system. Specifically address the factors that have contributed to increased collaboration between parents and educators.
2) Discuss the impact of how the dominant culture shapes schools as well as historical points of view in the contributions of culturally diverse groups.
3) Describe the potential impact of differences in values languages and customs that can exist between the home and school.
