Relationship Analysis Paper

Describe a past or current relationship in which you are/were involved in terms of the stages of interpersonal relationships found in Chapter 8 of your text. Trace the history of your relationship through the stages of development.  If the relationship is a current one, speculate as to the next stage your will move to or the stage at which your have stabilized. In a 5-7 page (minimum) APA style typed paper (12 point, Times New Roman font/ 1” margins/DS/Cover Page/Works Cited) write a relationship analysis paper that addresses the above.  In grading the paper I will look for the following:

•    Content/explanation (20 points)—you must clearly explain each of the stages in your own language.
•    Examples (20 points)—you should use specific examples from your relationship to support your each stage.
•    Analysis (20 points)—you should demonstrate the how you knew/know the relationship is/was in a particular stage.
•    Organization (10 points)—your paper should be well organized, including an introduction, conclusion and transitions between points.
•    Grammar, spelling, mechanics (10 points)—your paper should conform to the academic standards for written English.
•    Overall Cohesiveness (10 points)—you must create a paper which ties together all the above information to create a cohesive, interesting paper.
