The Stroop Experiment
Below is the expereiment done in class. performed the test…se below
Means
Control condition = 12.5 seconds and Stroop Condition = 19.5 seconds
Statistic: T(19) = 2.34, p < .05.
Conclusion: The results show that the participants took significantly longer to name colors in the stroop relative to the control condition! Therefore, we were able to replicate previous research by getting a stroop interference effect.
