It is useful to consider some of the radical changes that have occurred in the last few decades. Watch the video of Thomas Freidman?s lecture at MIT (http://video.mit.edu/watch/the-world-is-flat-9145/) in which he discusses his 2005 book “The World is Flat”. Discuss what you consider to be the most important events that have contributed to the ‘flattening’ of the world. Do you think Friedman?s basic premise holds true in 2013?
