Order Description

By now you’ve read Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, but how would you teach it?

Imagine that you’ve been asked to introduce the novel to other majors in your department. Your job isn’t just to convince them to read it; instead, you’ll show them how and why (or why not) the novel and its ideas are still relevant to what you’re studying today.

For this Think piece, you will redesign how the novel is taught, tailoring your approach to your field of study and MY MAJOR IS FINANCE. You might consider the following questions:

What questions and ideas are important in your major? What kinds of problems do you study?
What ideas from the novel help you to think about your major in new ways?
How would you present this to others?

To meet the minimum criteria for consideration for a 4.0, your Think piece must:

have a title (“Think piece 2” does not count as a title);
include your final infographic;
have a clear, concise, and identifiable thesis statement;
meet the required length of 300-500 words (writing more is ok, writing less is not);
incorporate at least two direct quotations from Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? to support your analysis;
correctly cite each quotation, using the MLA in-text citation style.
