Topic: Incarceration

There will be 8 Discussion Board Forums throughout this course. You are required to share your own informed opinion in response to the provided prompt for each forum. Each thread must be  at least 150 words with a minimum of 2 citations from at least 2 scholarly sources. 


Should we use incarceration for most offenses? Support your answers with sound reasoning. 

State whether we currently incarcerate too much or not enough, and include a discussion of financial costs. 

As a follow-up, why do you think the prison population is burgeoning?
