This second component of the final project deals with data collection and analysis of variables that impact the health care industry and nursing. This data will include internal forces that define the work and affect employees, clients, stockholders, or other key constituencies, creditors, technological advancements, and external forces including competition, communities, governmental and political issues, legal requirements, marketing, public relations or images, trends in physical and social work environments, and communication. In Component 2, you will also be identifying and defining those factors or forces from the data analysis that influence nursing management. You will complete a SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) analysis to better facilitate and what might impede achievability of your goals and objectives. Finally, you will define the current position and strength of the nursing unit.

The paper should be 1–3 pages in length and follow the APA Style and Formatting. Support your position with references and citations.
