Order Description

TASK: Using the diagram (attached) as a basis, develop a set of remarks that you would present as a lecture to an undergraduate college class. You should include the following:
1) A title for your lecture
2) An introduction or overview
3) A 1-page or 1 ½ page double-spaced explanation of each of the four elements
4) A conclusion
GUIDELINES: Your lecture should demonstrate effective use of concepts and quotes from the Unit II source material. However, drawing upon readings or scholars from Unit I is permissible where appropriate. At this point in the course, my expectation is that you will also be able to incorporate your own informed opinion as well as source material from the reading list.
It may be that not all of the readings from Unit II apply equally to this task. You do not need to use all of them, and the ones that you do use should be used appropriately and purposefully (Don’t just quote to be citing a source). It may be that some of the readings were chosen with this task in mind.
You need to discuss each of the three named elements above in more or less a similar length and depth. You must decide what the fourth element is. Some possibilities are medium, purpose, reality, context, constraints, or some other aspect that you feel you can explain/support. I am open and interested to see what you all do with the fourth element.
