Using technology in learning

Most of schools and universities still use the traditional ways of learning that is based on paper. But now some universities have begun to use technology in learning. This new method proved successful in education and it increased the performance for both students and instructors. We can use technology in learning in many ways and these are some examples;
1-    The projects such as power point program.
2-    Videos such as youtube website, and using videos in learning will help students a lot because they will see and hear the lecture, and also they can repeat the lesson as many times as they want.
3-    Multiple questions exams, it will save much time for the instructors.
4-    Audio books that have the best positive effect and lighter weight than paper books.
5-    Storage thousands of books in flashes, memory cards or other memory storage devices.
6-    Edit the work in a simple way without using any tools such as eraser or corrector.
7-    Offer scope for communication between the instructor and the students at any time.
Now, we can see the huge benefits of using technology in learning and how technology can improve the skills of the studentsand lead them to success, and also it will help the instructors because they can use a video or audio lessons in teaching and they also can make an online exam and this will save a lot of time,now we should know the importance of changing to technology in learning. Butunfortunately some schools and universities still use the traditional ways of learning because maybe it cost them a lot of money or maybe they are afraid of this step. How can we force these schools and universities to use technology in learning? In this research I will prove that all schools and universities should use the technology as a learning tool.

As we know, the word is developing more and more every-day. But unfortunately, the style and methods are used in learning process are almost the same methods that were used in the previous eras which are:
1-    The handbag that includes the: books + notebooks + pen case.
2-     Paper-based learning and exams.
3-    Attending the lectures in the classes is obligated.
4-     Transportation either by car, bus, or van.

Now, after we have a little idea about how learn process is applied in the real world, we will have a short description of the negative consequences for each of the above points individually:
1-    The handbag that contains books and the other stuffs are too heavy for the student, and in some cases this will cause a defect in his spine and strain the muscles.
2-    When we get to the end of the school year, we will find a huge amount of papers and books thrown in the trash and on the ground. All of these papers are produced from the wood of the trees, so it will be against the environment while process of producing the papers. Even if they have been recycled, they still will harm the environment and pollute the air.
3-    When the attendance is obliged, (as for our university, the attendance is obliged five days per week) which means that the student must attend in time these lecturers in the classes of the university, so as for me and a lot of students, each of these five days we come to the university by cars, which spends us a lot of time and energy to reach the lecturers, which will lead to pollute the air of the environment, waste of time, more traffic-jam, sometimes the student will rush to reach his classes which will cause an accident.

The purpose of this research is to bring all the evidences and facts in order to change the traditional ways of learning to an electronic online-learning. So when this technology is applied, nothing of the above will happen because it will lead to facilitate learning for the students, the tutors, as well as saving the environment.
