virtue theory paper
Write a two-page paper describing how the virtue theory or care ethics help you to think about virtues in medical practice and research. Use specific examples from the
supplemental material describing the Tuskegee Study.
Use at least two pieces of information from this week’s textbook reading(s) to support your argument. You have an option to supplement your paper with additional
material if needed, which must be from scholarly sources (i.e., peer-reviewed journal articles, books, etc.). Wikipedia is not a credible source. The paper should be a
minimum of two full pages.
You should review the grading rubric for this assignment, and the “Writing an Ethics Paper” document may be helpful, also. Both of these documents are found in the
Course Lounge area of the course. All direct quotations and information taken from your sources must be credited using APA Style®. Resources on APA Style® may be found
in the Hondros Library by clicking the “APA Resources” link on the left navigation. Please use the following format when naming your Word document: ETH200 YourLastName
Paper 7-1
After submitting your paper to Turnitin, it is a good idea to save the digital receipt. Next, check your Originality Report, which shows how much of your paper is from
other sources. This should be 30% or less in order for your paper to be effectively graded as YOUR WORK. Papers with Originality Reports over 30% may be returned to
you. You may correct and resubmit your paper until the due date and time.
The rubric is attached to each paper once it is graded. Come back to Turnitin, open your paper or download the file to your computer, and check your grade and any
comments made within the body of the document. It is important that you are familiar with the rubric and check your returned document for comments. These can help with
improvement as you progress through the course.
