-Provide list of resources used in the paper, and use in-text citations in APA, MLA or ASA format (approve all other formats with me first)

In the course we have had many discussions about why learning and reading the information we have been exposed to in the class is important and relevant. I believe the theorists and artists we have analyzed, watched, and read, and their works are incredibly important.  However, I think that the way we each conduct ourselves as a result of the experiences and perspectives we have been exposed to is the way we all can create very real and positive change in our own lives, those of our friends and families, and our communities.  I believe it to be all of our personal responsibility (if you are committed to social justice for all people) that we be good, vocal and strong allies to all people, not just those in the LGTBQIAA community.  Because of this I see it fitting that your final assignment discusses how we are allies to others.

What does it mean to you personally to be an ally?  Revisit the “Roles for allies in 2010” piece.  Which rule do you find yourself and others struggling with the most, and theorize as to why this is happening. Use 2-3 readings from the second half of the semester to help explain and support your understanding.

Then describe an exercise, habit, or practice that could help you and/or others work on and address the ways that we all could be a stronger allies in regard to the rule you are discussing.
