The reflective learning journal provides an opportunity for you to reflect on the topics covered in each week’s lecture. This then becomes a written record of the knowledge and insights you gain from weektoweek, relating to cognition and decision making theory, and particularly how these relate to your approach as a management decisionmaker. You will make seven entries into the journal – one for each week (Each week has its own PPT file PPt files will be uploaded) of the term and a final entry providing a ‘big picture’ reflection on your learning experience. You can adapt the structure of the journal to your preferred expression style, but as a guideline need to cover the follow points per entry: • Brief overview of the key theories / concepts covered in the session. (You may do more research on each topic if you would) • Any insights from the session (including exercises) into your cognitive processes and decisionmaking behaviours. You could also focus on ‘helpful’ learnings. • Some thoughts / ideas of how you could apply this to your decision making practice as a manager. There is no suggested word count per entry. Instead, work on 1 – 2 typed pages per entry. Maximum total words of all entries is 2500 words. No introduction or conclusions needed for each entry. Please reference key theories / sources, but your own ideas do not need citations
