Prior to this module, what was your own conception of “privacy” and/or “plagiarism”?  Did you consider your own conception of “privacy” and/or “plagiarism” unique, or in line with the mainstream cultural norms regarding “privacy” in the U.S.?  Why? Please offer some examples to illustrate your conception of “privacy” and/or plagiarism. Next, explain how computers and the Internet reshape our understanding of “privacy” and “plagiarism.” Finally, explicate your personal thoughts regarding whether the formal education (K-12 and higher education) should promote computer literacy that includes a critical examination of plagiarism and surveillance on the Internet.
